Took the initiative to organise World Autism Awareness Day for the first time at LUMS on April 2, 2017, in collaboration with Autism Spectrum Disorders Welfare Trust (ASDWT). The purpose was to raise awareness about Autism and to show how assistive technologies can be used to improve the quality of the lives of autistic children in Pakistan.

As part of the event speakers were invited to address the parents, I presented my final year research project (Aghaz) to show how technology can be used to improve the lives of autistic kids and the event ended with autism walk in LUMS.

Event got mass media coverage and 5 special institutes voluntarily partnered with our lab to help us conduct user studies at their centers.
